Meet the Authors

Janis Hutchinson, a former cult member, lives in Everett, WA. She is author of Out of the Cults and Into the Church: Understanding and encouraging ex-cultists and The Mormon Missionaries: An inside look at their real message and methods. Her articles have appeared in Guideposts, reFOCUS Forum, and Wherever.

Janis serves as a mentor for the Institute for Religious Research in its Mormon mentoring program.
