Meet the Authors

Judy Bruns and her husband, Paul, live in Coldwater, OH. She is the mother of three and grandmother of four. Judy has authored a children's book, Donnie, Lost in the Cornfield, based on the real-life experience of her mentally handicapped brother-in-law. She has done front-page freelancing for secular and Christian newspapers, writes poetry, and is a lyricist. Two pro-life songs she's written have been sung at Congressional Breakfasts in Washington D.C. In addition to her involvement in Right to Life, Judy is currently working on a second children's book about a woman with Alzheimer's. She hopes this article about her mother's suicide will help others recover from the pain of tragic loss and that it will influence those contemplating suicide to change their mind.
