Meet the Authors

Kathi Winter has spent most of her life traveling or working in the travel industry. After graduation from college, she traveled around the world 72 times for World Airways. Later, she was the airline's first female sales representative. Ms. Winter founded the first successful public group-charter travel company in the western United States and followed this with the formation of an educational organization specializing in orienting corporate executives to corporate operations in foreign countries. Over a ten-year period, she arranged educational exchanges to China for more than 6,000 people. Her work cleared paths for U.S. business executives to explore trade with China.

In 1986, Kathi formed Global Incentives, Inc. to provide the full spectrum of planning and implementation services for meeting and incentive users from all market segments.
