Overcoming Porn Addiction

 

  1. Confront your offending spouse with love and honesty (Ephesians 4:15).
  2. Confess your sins to each other and forgive one another, each owning up to your part (James 5:16).
  3. Get help from a trusted pastor or professional counselor (Proverbs 15:22).
  4. Learn to enjoy each other; date each other weekly (Proverbs 5:15).
  5. Be accountable to at least one other trusted same-sex partner (Proverbs 27:17).
  6. Allow a local church to restore you and help to you (Galatians 6:1).
  7. Minimize temptation by purging the home of offensive materials (Psalm 101:2-4).
